my one mustang mare loves to stand in one spot and just rear up when she plays. its so funny but I seem to never get a shot of her doing it Dandy does the same thing! Last winter I finaly got a pic of him doing it! It's not that good because I had to hurry and get the camra up but I still got it! ;D Another fun one from that day. It's kinda blurry but still cool.

Such great pictures everyone, I just love this part of seeing everyone's horses. I love the black Warm Springs filly with the bright white blaze (besides I happen to have a soft spot for Warm Springs Mustangs anyway). The dunalinos are so pretty and look like a matched pair. kigerfan your story of the problematic Paint was very cute. nightangel..Dandy's pics are so cool. He is very photogentic I had one awnry filly that was a handful the day she was born and I went to approach her and she came at me biting. I had to go after her and chase her away until she retreated behind her mom. Luckly her dam sees me as boss and would never come after me. She always had atttitude towards me, during halter training would simply drop to the ground and lay down to avoid training. She was sold early on but due to the fact it was across country she stayed with me for ground training and until she old enough to make a cross country transpot trip safely. I always told her it was a good thing she was beautiful because her disposition left alot to be desired. but her new owner loves her to death is training her for barrel racing and other gaming compitetions. It is what we always want for our horses we sell a perfect match with a new owner. here she is when she was with me, she is a Mustang/Paint, Fantasy's half sister

I brought home a naughty horse from Michelle's last year. She bought him from an auction, I think he was half quarter horse half criollo mustang (right Michelle?), and he had quite an interesting past. I worked with him over the summer then took him home to bond with and put some miles on. Tito was coming along so nice when we were down in Texas, but then once I got him home he was like bipolar. Every other time I rode him he would go in a tiz and start bucking like crazy until I was off his back. The first time he did this he broke my finger. I got on him again after that and he was perfect. Got on him the next weekend. He threw me and my finger snapped again in the same spot. Rode him a few times after that and he was just fine. Hopped on again later that week, he bucked but I was ready for it and rode it out and got him calmed down, and after that we had a lovely little trail ride with a few other people. The next time I got on him he tossed me over his head and I did a front flip and landed in the gravel all skinned up. I kept getting on after all of this (and until this horse I have never been bucked off!) trying to ride it out and making sure I was always prepared for him to start pitching. I took him back down to Texas the next summer and he only kicked up his heels once in the pasture while we were cantering beside another horse and rider. We took him to a nearby arena a few times with bunches of other riders running around and he was fine. By the time I had to go back home I could even attempt to rope a barrel on his back, I could stand up on him, and gallop up and down the driveway without him throwing a fit. Michelle said Eric worked with him a bit and he has come even farther since. He turned out really nice. A few pictures of Tito.

I wish I could find the one picture I had of Vista she had way too long ears, she was definitely not a fashion plate but she was a real friend

You did a great job with Tito, Emily. He has turned into such a nice horse.
