Just saw a picture of a crow with white spots all over, wild when you think of how many generations have been all black.

I guess that answers the question if zebras are black on white or white on black...

I read recently that their skin is black.

We had a robin that nested in our yard several years ago that had a greyish white breast. Looked like a normal robin in every way except for the color of the breast. Never saw it again after that one nesting period. Thought we might get mutated babies. My hubby took photos of it.

Could it be it has two sets of DNA types, like with brindles?
