didn't sleep well up all night...so I slept in this morning. A hungry mule has no patience for late breakfast busted thru the gate, while I was trying to get horse blankets off and hay delivered. Even the old mare busted loose for the front pasture to only find a closed gate....I get it they were not pleased with my late arrival.
No pictures as of late, no batteries for my failing camera. I am leaving a note for Santa, new camera PLEASE!

I can just see Super taking matters into his own...hooves! Must have been one of those days. The grulla mare, Raz, nickered to me when I came in late; but it really was not a nicker - it was very demanding. How quickly they get comfortable! I spent all afternoon yesterday winter proofing my barn. Charro decided to get ahold of one little piece of plastic he could pull through his stall and ripped a whole 20 foot piece down and had fun with it, tearing it to shreds and stomping it in the floor. It was a long day - we are finally getting rain but now we flooded. Feast or famine but I'm happy we are getting winter grass and I don't have to feed the 15 mares in the Wild Bunch hay all winter!

Good to hear you have rain..we have dry cold.
I am tempted to just let Super have run of the farm and see how long he last out there alone. Of course he is sure to find trouble, it is just a stage he will grow out of. Fantasy grew past it and he will too, now how many years it will take and if I am still sane when that day comes is yet to be seen ...LOL.

thanks Fantasy, Im still not sure what it is, but it is out behind an old dairy barn behind my house that I am thinking about converting into two stalls for the ponies if I can get it cleaned out and up
