Dusk pulled another one today. She didn't really like her fly mask, the kind with the face and ears. She didn't protest it, but she made it very clear that she was only putting up with that silliness out of a 'favor to me'. Today, somehow, she managed to unfasten the double security velcro latch and pull it off... and then proceeded to chew an ear off of it. Rather than make her look completely silly, I figured okay... and cut the other ear off, so at least she matches. Since she's not getting way with not wearing it, I put it back on without ears. Now she thinks it's wonderful. She's not ear-shy - I play with them all the time to be sure of that - but she likes her new convertible model.
