Maxi is finding his legs and becoming very confident. I suppose only a few days in the big pen before they rejoin the herd - I can't wait to get picts of all the babies playing together!

I am thrilled with Gringo and pleasantly surprised...I figured he was major hybrid vigor and most likely would not produce. That is why I bred him to Chilli - being that she is a crossbred herself. So this year he'll be bred back to Tasa and maybe Leza.

Oh Max! He is such a pain out in the herd! Always chasing the girls and giving Troy issues...it is so interesting to see the same behaviors in both he and Zerlina, being both Gringo foals; genetics are amazing!

Even so, he is a sweetheart of a colt and is like hugging a big stuffed animal!
