I got to take Bella out on her first trail ride Sunday. I pony'd her off Lakota and she really enjoyed it. The only thing she didn't like was the mud puddles but she did go thru them after we had to stop and let her taste test the water....and of course paw a few times. Im so proud of her - she's going to be a super horse. She takes everything with a happy and willing attitude.

We stopped for lunch break and she had to test taste all the tree's to make sure they tasted the same as those at home..!HA

And when we stopped, of course he head was in my lap, literally!!! At one point she had her entire head lain over my lap and i was kissing her ears!!!

Thx guys! Bella is super! I stopped by and talked with the trainer she's going to last night and looks like she's going March 1st - give or take a few days. Im gonna give her 30 days to get going and see how and what she likes to do, then go from there on her training and which direction I wanna take her. The great thing about my trainer is he has done it all - used to train rope horses, he now trains western pleasure horses so I could take her any direction - I do love reining and I think she has the height for it but also love cutting!! We'll see what Bella likes..!

LOL- that is exactly what she looks like she's thinking! She's going to be awesome on the trails! Such a sweet girl!!
