Turns out the 800 miles was round trip...but still 400 miles free hauling. That includes any kiger adopted via the internet adoption.

That's OK, Andi had a link on her site. This is pretty cool! I didn't know there was a newsletter. Is this something you do Andi? Here's the link equine.wisecomp.com/January2008Newsletter.pdfThanks so much for letting us know about the pictures desperatehorsewife! He does look great, and to be wrangler's choice of the month is pretty good too. Hmmm Just noticed that he is 17 and his tail isn't graying out. Well, that shoots a hole my "look at the tail" theory.

I am so excited, but trying not to be too much so. I'm so hoping "we" get him out of there.
Thank you for posting the information. I've been away from the computer for 5 days and am clueless about what has been happening.

I'm glad to be back online, thanks. I went to visit my horses at the trainer. It's 350 miles away, so I stay awhile when I go. Linda F

You'll have to post somewhere how your babies are doing at the trainers. I'd love to know. Lynn

I would venture to say, considering alot of the disapointment in regards to the type of Kiger that was available at the adoption, if this guy were not grey, he would have had a home. He may have been left out there this long because he was thought to be a "claybank" - or maybe he was just too wise to get caught! Anyway, regardless of his color, the big guy deserves a home and I am hoping it can be here in Texas! Dianne - I belive your tail theory still holds true:

For seventeen years old and being out in the wild the whole time, the old warrior still looks pretty darn good... Hmm, Old Warrior, I feel another poem coming on
