She could well be a Kiger, but no paper or info. She's in Malibu, CA. It says "the farm where she had been used as a brood mare went bankrupt"

I just heard back from Mary-Dee. She said, "Shilo, as her posting indicates, was rescued at an auction. The auctioneer had the information where all of the horses came from, and while don't know that its totally accurate, he announced that she came off of a Keiger Mustang breeding ranch out of state. There were about 7 grullas there that day, all mares, who supposedly came together. Shilo has white on her, as you can see, so we have speculated that she was bred once, threw white on her colts, so was sent to the auction house as unsuitable for further breeding. I wish I had more information, but that's it. She did not come through as a BLM horse, and does not have a brand of any type on her. She's really photogenic, isn't she?
Her adoption fee is $2,000, and we are a chairatable organization, so its considered a donation. She has had an additional 60 days of training and is broke to ride, but hasn't been ridden lately. I have a volunteer coming out who has been working with her, and she's responding very well. On the other hand, she's young, and probably needs miles on her."

I'm dying! Why does this lovely horse have to be in Malibu?!?! I live maybe 15 minutes away from this beautiful girl, and decided long ago that I'd love to add a grulla to my crew one day--and I pretty much only take on rescues as a rule. That's what interested me in Banner. (That, and he's perfect in every way for me...) But here's the problem. I only have room for three horses and I'm already full up. My quarter horse Bayou has broken his knee twice and will never be rideable again. He's painful on the best of days, but still has some quality of life so he'll be my puppy until the pain becomes unbearable. And I also have a 23 year old quarter named Doolie who is getting close to needing to be retired. It's very hilly where we live and it's getting tough on him to go out on long rides these days. And of course I have Banner too--so I'm at my max. And I'm dying because sight unseen, I'd love to give your lovely girl a wonderful forever home. Oh, and I even ride western. Man, this sucks!!!! Thanks for letting me rant. I know my husband sure doesn't want to hear it....
