hahaha Dianne! So much for the famous last words "Getting out of the breeding business!" I'll sure be interested to see what he produces.

I know, it will be fun to see him develop under Kevin and Lisa's great care. I wanted him here at the pasture in the worst way, just to get to know him again. But this is super, sometimes things just work out the way they are supposed to.

He is very nice, Dianne. I'm glad you were able to get him back and in the hands of two great trainers. I know you are thrilled.

Kevin is gone a good deal this month, but he spent some time in the round pen with Rio. It was a good attitude adjustment for Rio as not much has been asked of him. After a short while he was saying "yes" to Kevin. Always a good thing. I'm so excited to see him develop and get out in the world doing things. Just being next to other horses is a great thing for him I'm sure. Michelle, I know what you mean. He does look like Charro in that picture. When I'm watching him I'll think he looks like Charro one minute and then Chinook the next. NICE combination of genes.

After the sadness of hearing of Ron's passing, maybe Kevin, Lisa, or Dianne can give us an update on how Rio's doing? Some good news would be GREAT!

Rio is out of Chinook (double black genes) and Calista (double red genes) so he has one of each. Sedona had one bay and one black (I think) so they would throw either dun or grulla. Need to get her color tested.
