Fit's trainer has a web site - www.startmycolt.com. Click on "horses in training", go to bottom of page and click on the picture of Fit. It will take you to his page; a service Tim provides to clients. He is also on You Tube if you search Fit, Kiger mustang. He and Tim are herding a rooster. Fit has been very calm and accepting of new things. He looks laid back in the video and he has only been there11 days.

Handsome Fit! Looks pretty good! Who is training all these horses? No way one person could be doing it all.

Thanks, he needs to muscle up. He and I will both be getting into better shape as we log some miles. Diane, he is the only trainer for those horses but the pics have been taken over a period of time. They are not all currently in training. He puts miles on them out on trails, in hillly country, along the road. He will hobble break him, pony him and teach him to be supple. Fit is already good with loading and trailering. I guess all my ground work did lay a good foundation. Ffit sure doesn't look anxious or uncooperative, if anything he looks half asleep. When we gat a week or so further along, I will begin riding him at Tims so he can help me mesh with Fit's new skills.

Fit came home for two weeks and went back to the trainer again due to some scheduling issues so he has been back there 2 weeks and the trainer is still trying to find something to spook him. So far he has hesitated at a big irrigation line motor making noise and was not too sure about walking over his first bridge and moving water, but he went after he had time to check them out.
Not bad on his part. His latest video shows Tim riding him in a large open field on a loose rein at all three gaits and Fit never tries to bug out, pull or act out. This Saturday it is my turn and it is about as bad waiting for the weekend as the week before I got my first horse at 13. I will be up for trail riding Tiffany if you would like company. I can trailer to you or anywhere and I would love the moral support our first few times out. I had something slow and easy in mind. I can pick up the Badlands if I trailer just a few miles from our house. Three of our neighbors rode out there last week and ended up calling a husband to come and honk the horn so they could find the way back to the trailer. I was warned to take GPS with me.
He is being worked in a snaffle and a bosal and seems to prefer the bosal. Can I ride him in shows in a hackamore or will they make us use a bit?
I'll post a pic of us soon. We are working in an arena and then taking about a 4 mile trail ride. I am rusty but eager. It'sd been a long time coming.
Oh, we have a suprise/oops foal due in the next two weeks. The mare is huge, I'm hoping for a colt. The marerecord in the last 6 years is filly, colt, filly, and this one.

Oh my this is wonderful news I am so happy all is going well with Fit and you are ready to ride the trails This Saturday however will not work for me as I am hosting a low cost equine dental clinic at my farm. Several of my close neighbors are bringing their horses over to get dental work done at my barn, if it goes over well I hope to do another clinic in the Spring, possibly branching out to more horseowners. I will PM you my number, hopefully we will get out together before to long or the weather takes a turn for the worse. Congrates on the oops.. I hope that he will be happy healthy.
