Morgan is offically due June 5th...but I don't think she's gonna make it! Last year she carried Fabio 9 days over her due date, but it looks as if she is setting up quickly for this one. Considering the size of her girth, I'm not sure she can hold on to it! Picture taken this morning...I can't imagine what she looks like laying upside down, which she obviously had to do overnight to get stains all the way up on her back! Poor momma does not even fit into the stocks so I can check her milk (she's not so thrilled with me pulling on stuff down there to begin with, much less with that baby shoved around...). However, if I wait until the baby moves and lays lower, we can make it work. Her calcium is already way up and her ph is dropping daily. Maybe a double header this weekend with Sycha and Morgan...?!?!?

Morgan is progressing daily. Calcium topped off quickly already and ph dropped this morning. No wax yet, her nitties get looser during the day when she is out and they could stand to fillly in a little more overnight.

After literally two night of no sleep and watching Morgan sweat like a pig and milk drip - she's here! Introducing Bayo Mística: I'll have to get better picts as the day goes on, she was still pretty wet in these, plus I am just about cross-eyed! She has blue eyes, so she does have the champagne gene, plus the dun. I am not sure, but she looks red based and I don't have a clue if she also has the creme gene...my guess is no, because her mane and dorsal stripe are very dark. Even if she does not have the creme gene, red based champagnes manes do get white looking most of the time. Whatever she is, she is sure great quality and I am very pleased! She is also a pistol and already being sassy with Morgan and I!
