I think it is appropriate with all the crazy weather, that this month our pictures are weather related...rain, snow, wind, sun/heat, etc.

This was my front yard after an ice storm in April 2003. And this is just a small portion of it. It took months of chainsaw work hauling and stacking, burning to clear away the mess. We had a much worse ice storm in 1985.

Here is an oldie of Bolero at 6 months old learning from his Aunt Miley to use the water tank as a drum, and to eat slush.

Love the frosty picts....when we had some good freezes last month, the ice in the outside troughs got over an inch thick. I don't know if it was a coincidence, but after a few days of having to break ice in them, one morning I went out to feed Hawk and Nitro and there was a piece of wood they must have taken off the shed laying on the ice - smart boys!! They just did not have the thumbs to hold it to break it open...

Beautiful winter pics' dunbnwild... I sure would not want to ever experience and ice storm for sure. But we do get some frosty days and snow. Fantasy's dam..Salsa from Warms Springs HMA Salsa once again on an island in the flooded pasture one rainy season. All the conditions were right endless rains and frozen ground yet to thaw, so the water had no where to go.

Great snow shots Cindy, Lazi looked like she enjoyed her roll in the snow! Pretty place you have. Tiffany, that last picture looks like it could have been taken in Washington except for the junipers. Glad our pastures do drain, but they get can get little lakes like your if it rains hard. Bet it will be nice and green where you are this spring with all the rain!

Thanks Dianne! It's my oasis, for sure! And that roll in the snow was after I took her for a spin around the neighborhood. Every time I ride a Kiger, they have to have a roll as soon as the saddle comes off--LOL.

That photo with Salsa on a island in my pasture was taken' a few years ago. This year of course we have had less moisture/snow this winter. This photo was taken last year and I think pretty cute it is my mini Cooper peeking under Fantasy's belly.
