Using an inner tube to tie a horse stops them from breaking away. Fold the tube in half and put it around a tree or heavy duty post and put the lead rope trough the loops made by folding it in half. The tube stretches when they pull preventing them from breaking away and they soon get the idea pulling doesn't work. Linda D

Dianne, I love the Blocker tie ring! You can install it almost anyplace, even to the side of the horse trailer. It has sort of the same concept as the inner tube, in the idea is for it to have some give if the horse pulls, while at the same time not allowing them to break loose. I also have a tree with a large branch just the right height that I plan on attatching an inner tube to. Most all my youngsters learn to tie early on and I'll tend to tie them while I do my chores and can keep an eye out for them. They learn a lot of patience that way. I'm betting you will really like your Blocker tie ring! Kim
