I'm new to the forum but was quite excited to see that my Kiger Bella Rose's YouTube video had been posted on here. She is a wonderful horse that simply loves to dance and I was fortunate enough to find a trainer that could capture that quality without harm to her spirit. 2009 was her first year and she was undefeated at First Level Test 4. The year ended with 5 first places and 3 seconds...all scores above 60 and a high of 68. For 2010 I registered her with USDF and USEF so she can show at upper level shows. Thank you for all the kind words and wish Bella luck in 2010. I know the judges at Devonwood will favor the warmbloods but won't it be fun turning some heads. She is a show stopper for sure and gets an unbelievable amount of attention. PS- I have another Kiger named Claire whom I bought as a yearling...hates arena work and loves trails and adventure. Bella is my rock and Claire is my Sunshine.

Hi Mesteno Girl, I too am new to this site. I wanted to tell you that I was really impressed with your performance. You can really see the way Bella listens to you and how well you are in tune with her also.
I wish you and Bella the best of luck in your future showing. It is so wonderful to see great riders on Kigers. We need a lot more people like you that can take this breed to the next level. Please keep us posted on your future plans for Bella. I would love to follow your accomplishments.

Thanks Pepper. I didn't hear directly from her but maybe my trainer did. She is the one that posted the video. And Kigermustang1....I wish I could take credit for that performance but the rider is my trainer. Bella deserved to be debuted at her level not mine . I'm not much of a show girl but I certainly love watching. To me....its whatever is best for the horses. Someday maybe? Thanks again and I will keep you posted on Bella and look forward to hearing more about your horses.

Thank you Dianne.....Bella has been a great friend to me for a long time. Angie (trainer) does a wonderful job of working within the horses physical and mental abilities....pushing here and there but never forcing. Capturing their spirit and letting them express themselves. Bella would have never tolorated a forceful trainer. People are naturally drawn to Bella because she is a thinker and comes across calm and serene but she is actually quite sensitive. Doesn't like to be fussed over and cautious of strangers. Our bond is rather profound. My younger Kiger, Claire on the other hand is a pocket pony and loves people and attention. Hates arena work but thinks she should be the star anyway Claire is my sunshine and Bella is my rock. Or as Angie says, Claire makes me laugh and Bella makes me smile. BTW...I believe you were the owner of Santana? I was quite smitten with him and seriously had to talk myself out of another horse He is a very handsome boy. Thank you again and I look forward to learning more from you and all the other members.
