She does look like a medicine hat, I've always liked those, had one myself for a while. What beautiful clear blue eyes she has! She looks a lot better! If her foal is half the survivor she is, it'll be just fine

Yes she had a bath before the pic was taken - so she was nice and clean....thanks for all your well wishes, hopefully all will be well soon when the baby is here! She's still doing great and loving those goats She's got her own herd (family) now and consists of her and 3 goats!! ha

OH MY, what a gorgeous little girl!!!! I can't believe how good she looks, especially considering the deplorable state that mom was in. A big HUGE KUDOS to you for everything you have done for this mare. Your compassion has been truely rewarded. Please keep us updated on her and the filly. Any ideas for a name yet?

Still throwing around names right now - I do have to give credit to my friend though. She's the one who has fell in love with this mare and is going to be keeping her. Not sure about the filly, she say's she don't want to keep the filly or rather she tells me that I have to tell her she CANT..hee hee But my friend wants the mare for a riding horse, so that will be good. I had no intentions of keeping the mare when we got her but I can make sure she goes to a good home and won't be treated like this again.

That mare was so lucky to have found you. What a darling filly! And mom must be so glad and happy to have a healthy strong filly. Bet she looks just like mom. I've heard of names like Chance for situations like this.

Congrtulations on a your healthy little blued eyed girl She is indeed darling. Congrates as well for finding a new home for the mare. I am sure, with the fillies flashy looks, your sure to find her a good home come weaning time.
